Creating Caring Connections is a program of His Heart Foundation reaching youth ages 5-14 through individual mentorship and educational resources for schools and churches. Our goal is to equip young people with essential problem-solving skills to inspire lifelong mental wellness and the development of healthy, positive relationships.
Caring Classroom
Classroom lessons offered as a supplemental extension of MentorSuccess® partnership in school settings. Lessons (slides) on strategies to have healthy relationships, prosocial behavior, and lifelong success skills.
- 3 lessons each for grades K-1, 2-3 & 4-5
- Concepts include:
- Empathy
- Self-Control
- Critical Thinking
- Emotional Identification
- Types of Aggression/Bullying
- Conflict Resolution
Caring Community
15 Mental Health education short videos inviting youth to discuss common social and emotional struggles and brainstorm key coping skills. Offered to churches and organizations that partner with His Heart Foundation.
5 lessons each for grades 6-8 offered to:
- Youth Groups
- Parents
- Other organizations or private practices that work with children and teens
- Concepts Include:
- Self-Care
- Understanding Unkind Behavior
- Healthy Communication
- Empathy
- Neurodiversity
